Skimmer / Filter System Float - Part #: 2240

The Pondmaster 2002 in-pond filter is a combination Skimmer and Submersible filter for small to medium ponds. This filter features an automatic floating skimmer basket, that will remove leaves and other debris that float on the surface of your pond, while the filtration unit sits on the bottom, and takes care of mechanical, chemical and biological filtration. Floating Skimmer basket allows for 6" fluctuations in water level from evaporation. Filter comes with 1 in. tubing, mechanical and carbon filter pads, and tubing connectors needed, does not include a water pump. This filter has a recomended flow rate of 1,800 to 2,400 gph, and is rated for ponds up to 2000 gallons. Manufacturer reccomends adding some lava rock, or bioballs, to the open bottom chamber of filter for optimum biological filtration.
